Is it really free?

Yes. You can use the whole app without an account: notes, tables, reminders, attachments, widgets, themes and export are all free. Sync is the one paid part, at €4.99 a month or €44.99 a year, which saves you almost three months.

Can I lose a note?

Everything you type saves itself within about half a second, and closing a note saves it too. You can restore archived notes any time, and deleting for good asks you to confirm first.

Where are my notes kept?

On your own device, saved as you type, with your attachments beside them. If you turn on sync, a copy also goes to a private folder in your own Google Drive.

What does sync actually send?

It sends your notes and attachments to a private folder in your own Google Drive that only Just-Notes can see. The only copies are on your devices and in your Drive, protected by your Google account. Sync is in testing now.

Does it work without the internet?

Yes. Everything except sync works offline, and your notes stay on your device until you turn sync on.

What if I stop using it?

Your notes stay yours. Export saves every note as a plain text file, with your attachments in a folder beside them, and the files open in any editor for years to come.

Which platforms are ready?

iPhone and Mac come first, through the App Store, then Windows and Android. We're testing until 30 September. Leave your email and we'll tell you the day yours is ready.

Why does Windows warn me?

The installer is unsigned, so the first time you run it Windows asks whether you trust it. Choose More info, then Run anyway, and it installs as usual.
